Compassionate Support for People Challenged by Aging or Disabilities
Trusted by Metro East Families for 40 Years
One in ten Americans over age 65 has dementia, and the number increases every year. The prevalence of dementia strains families emotionally and financially. While caregivers are stressed, most do not reach out for help.
We offer a solution. St. John’s Community Care has been on the forefront of caring and advocating for people challenged by aging or disabilities since 1985.
Participants in our Adult Day Programs in Collinsville and Edwardsville receive compassionate care in a stimulating, enjoyable atmosphere. Our Adult Day Program is open five days a week during business hours. We will care for your loved one while you work or enjoy a break from your 24/7 caregiving role.
We also offer support groups and courses for caregivers and manage a free medical equipment loan program.

Walk, Run, Roll .1K Classic
Support St. John’s Community Care and St. John United Church of Christ at our first-ever Walk, Run, Roll .1K Classic. The event will feature a series of short races (about 100 yards). You pick which one is right for you based on your abilities. The event will take place on Goethe Avenue in front of St. John’s Community Care. We will treat this event like a marathon with T-shirts, food, and beverages, and an emcee. A post-party in our courtyard follows the races.
Please support our ministries through sponsorship or participation. Register to race at https://charity.pledgeit.org/walkRUNROLL. Sponsors receive recognition in the race program and in promotional materials. You also can support the event by donating swag for gift bags, food, or beverages. Contact Beth Hammock, director of development, at bhammock@stjohnscc.org or 618-344-5008 for sponsorship details.
