Alzheimer’s Support Group
Chartered in 1991, this support group is intended for family caregivers with loved ones suffering from Alzheimer’s. This group is co-facilitated by two experienced leaders specially trained in issues of dementia and aging.
St. John’s support groups provide opportunities to discuss your concerns and uncertainties, as well as find resources to help regain a sense of balance and hope.
We also provide information about helpful coping techniques and resources to make your job as caregiver a little less stressful. The sessions allow you to listen and discuss common issues with the group, leaving you with more understanding and a sense that you are not alone. There is no charge to attend. These meetings will be conducted online via Zoom group meetings until further notice. Groups will resume in–person meetings when possible.
This group meets monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm. There is no charge to attend.
We are here when you need us!
