Are you feeling stressed due to caring for a loved one living with dementia or Alzheimer’s. You are not alone. The caregiver’s well-being is important because studies have shown that caregivers who take care of themselves are known to take better care of their loved ones.
Stress can be a major issue for family caregivers who are caring for loved ones with dementia. Here at St. John’s Community Care, we understand the challenges that caregiver face and are committed to providing support and education to help them. That’s why we offer the Stress-Busting Program for Family Caregivers.

Caregivers attending will learn about 1) stress and how it affects them, 2) review a variety of stress management techniques, and 3) develop problem-solving skills. This is an evidence-based program, and many have found it to be helpful to their well-being and being a less stressed family caregiver.
